What are Ideas, Exactly?
I was really excited to see such a response. It was great guys! Thank you all! I wanted it to be more interactive. So guys please send in your comments and suggestions.
Ok. What are Ideas? Jim Rohn once said “Ideas can be life-changing.” It’s true. Ideas are new relationships between the things we know, to make new things that we don’t know. I’m sure that’s a bit confusing. Let me put it this way. It’s that flash of light that lets you see things in a new way. So every idea is a new discovery. If you think now you’ll find new wine from old bottles. George Bernard Shaw explained it even better “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” "The secret of all effective originality in advertising is not the creation of new and tricky words and pictures, but one of putting familiar words and pictures into new relationships." - Leo Burnett. Advertising Ideas are the same, they weave words, images and sounds together in new ways every time to excite, entertain and enlighten the people. So how do we get one?
