Martial arts!

In order to promote the Martial Arts Week by the National Geographic Channel (NGC) - a series of documentaries about the surprising Martial Arts – a press kit constituted by a brick, a black belt and a leaflet was sent to the press and media buyers with information about the series and the programme schedule. The press kit defies whoever opens it to try and break the brick, making that person feel like a true Martial Art Master. For the final consumer several Street Campaigns were made:
1- Promoters were placed n strategic spots in the city of Lisbon. Each team of promoters was constituted by two fighters who trained with each other and by a third who distributed the flyers explaining the reason for that make-believe combat. The flyers also directed the people for the on-line quiz made by the Martial Arts Week sponsor Wilkinson brand.
2-About 150 black belts and flyers were placed in different supports throughout the city of Lisbon.

What are Ideas, Exactly?

I was really excited to see such a response. It was great guys! Thank you all! I wanted it to be more interactive. So guys please send in your comments and suggestions.

Ok. What are Ideas? Jim Rohn once said “Ideas can be life-changing.” It’s true. Ideas are new relationships between the things we know, to make new things that we don’t know. I’m sure that’s a bit confusing. Let me put it this way. It’s that flash of light that lets you see things in a new way. So every idea is a new discovery. If you think now you’ll find new wine from old bottles. George Bernard Shaw explained it even better “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” "The secret of all effective originality in advertising is not the creation of new and tricky words and pictures, but one of putting familiar words and pictures into new relationships." - Leo Burnett. Advertising Ideas are the same, they weave words, images and sounds together in new ways every time to excite, entertain and enlighten the people. So how do we get one?

Sm'art'

How to get great ideas?

Is this a million dollar question? Yes it is! If you have a good idea… its worth more than a million. How to get good ideas? There are no formulas, guide lines or modules to follow. Getting ideas is like riding a wild horse. You always end up with bruises and broken legs. But still you want to give it a try. From now on I’m going to share a little of my knowledge in how to get great ideas. Let me know this first… are you interested?

Right words!
